Die-Casting Molds
Die casting molds started out and upgraded from sand casting but it casts product with high mechanical performance than traditional casting and already evolved to variety of appliance with different material. Traditional casting principle is that filling molten metal into a mould that conventionally made by sand, salt or metal. After that it had gradually evolved to pressure die casting. In this way, the die-casting machine squeezes the molten metal into a mould cavity under high pressure and then holding metal material under pressure during solidification. Finally taking out the casted part from tooling after cooling. This kind of molds is suitable for very high rate production because of the fast solidification and automatic mold running under controlled of die casting machine. Many zinc, aluminum, magnesium, copper and it’s related alloys are cast using this method. Especially for zinc and aluminum alloys casting that extensively used to all kinds of  industries, such mechanical, automotive, electrical, sport, toy fields.

In the two decades, we have been offering die-casting method and tooling service for clients from different industries,  At Mold World our experienced engineers work with our customers to ensure the tooling design and manufacture are optimized for consistent quality and competitive cost.
we use cast simulation software(i.e. Flow-3D)which allows us to analyze the mold flow to assist tool design. We know precisely how to eliminate mold and casting process defects like air bubbles, porosity, entrained air (air trapping), and surface cold mark & shuts.

Die-Casting Molds Additional Features

Zinc and aluminum alloy are highly fluid material, therefore, allowing the material to penetrate small features in the mold. This enable these material and die-casting mold often used in making the precision, thinner wall thickness or high appearance surface parts, such as sprockets, office appliance, gears, high-class toy and connector housings ect.

We have ability to help your part design and produce the most challenging components for you, our commitment to excellence has made us a mold supplier of precise die castings methods to clients worldwide, specialty in precise zinc alloy and aluminum alloy die-casting toolings, which provide a variety of notable benefits below to you:
Good fluidity and easily casting.
High accuracy and appearance surface.
Faster production time.
Nearly 100% material recycled.
Reduce secondary operations compared with traditional casting method.
Tooling can achieve fully automatic production.

Die-Casting Molds Customer Example
This zinc alloy parts used in a high-class scaled model with thinner wall thickness(1mm). Customer requested strict appearance surface(part need be coated with electrostatic spraying process after die casting), mold works on the high speed & pressure die-casting machine,1.5 million mold life at least and must be without flash around part.

These were demanding applications for tooling and an relative big challenge no matter for tooling design or tooling manufacture teams, but our skilled engineering and production technical teams like challenges who fast made systematic DFM analysis, used Flow 3d software to simulate & found out the best casting method and mold layout. Finally fast finished mold design and machining ahead of customer's requested ETD and mold has been running well at customer’s workshop even it’s was over requested mold life.
