Conventional Injection and Die Casting Molds Customer Example
The plastic part is a higher transparent water tank used to coffee machine, it needs resist the higher vapour pressure, that means part must be with the least flow mark and parting line to ensure a nice outlook and avoid the part cracked. Both ends of water tank are opening(through hole) and both inside be with deeper undercuts , which are challenges for the mold designing of ejection system and inner-outer side actions. After comprehensively evaluation and analysis of our senior engineering team, we designed three sliders at cavity side actuated with nitrogen springs, which can eliminate the part stuck on or scratched by cavity insert. Set two inner sliders run in B plate and the dovetail guide core fixed in supporting plate, two inner sliders driven by the dovetail guide core to realize collapsible functions. (Three-plate mold + two stage ejection structure).
Through injection,solidification,dwell pressure and cooling process, mold opened from the 1st parting line surface first (between A and B plate)→Three sliders in cavity side pushed out by nitrogen springs→Ejection system be switched on→The 2nd parting line surface(between B plate and supporting plate) opened under the control of the latch locking device(4x)→ B plate, two inner sliders, Stripper blocks ,core insert and part are ejected together with a stroke → Two inner sliders moved out from undercuts→ Part continue to be ejected within stroke→ Part taken out by robot→ Mold closed for next injection cycle.
