The customer needed a transparent spiral product (PC material) for a kitchen appliance product and desired nearly non parting line mark in-external surface. Traditional core-pulling mechanism cannot achieve undercut retracting of inside and outside area due to the limited dimension and shape. finally recommended collapsible cores structure after deliberately analysis.

Collapsible core structure consist of four collapsible inner sliders driven by core, and two outer sliders motored by hydraulic cylinder that fixed on sliders(see 3D screen pictures below), Mold with two parting surfaces and two-stage ejections, work sequence controlled by latch locks and finally product taken out by robot manipulator.
